Christmas do here was very welcoming nice staff very good atmosphere
Main courses were cold. Delay in being served dessert.long waits between courses. May go again if service and food quality improves.
I came in with my two friends yesterday who I hadnt seen in a very long time for a drink and as your google closing time said 1 we thought this would be ideal. We were served at bottle of wine at 10:30 and then by 11:30 your staff had decided they wanted their night out there and then and we had to leave even though we all still had a full glass of white wine. It felt like a bloody uni initiation as we were having to gulp it down under pressure which in my eyes is a waste of money completely. We were told the customer isnt always right, that we needed to go numerous times as your barmaid and bar man both watched over our shoulders. We then left after downing out wine and had to stand outside and wait for our taxi as werent aloud to wait inside. I think you need to teach your staff some decorum and also that in most cases the customer is always right even if it might mean they have to go on their night out about 10 minutes later so 3 girls dont have to stand out alone to wait for a taxi. Sort it out.
New owners who seem very friendly, the pub has been refurbished and is lovely. Only dropped in for a drink so as yet can't comment on the food. Nice atmosphere and will definitely return
Went last night for the re-opening and had a great time. The inside has been done really well, a nice homely atmosphere and some lovely touches. The new landlords were really nice, friendly and helpful and you could see that the whole family were there helping out too. The food could not be faulted and the service was great too - especially considering that it was the opening night - well done, we will definitely be back very soon.
