Always helpful and genuine... been taking my Range Rover there for years
Wouldnt recommend them to diagnose and fix a flat tyre never lone anything more complicated. They were recommended as Land Rover Specialist, my Range Rover had a problem with its air suspension, two messages raising slowly and suspension will continue to raise when system cools down or words to that affect. I told the manager this and he wanted to run a scan. They ran a scan and said the ride height sensor on front right was -2mm. They wanted it booked in to re-calibrate. I got hold of the work shop manual and it says the tolerance is +- 10mm. So this had nothing to do with the problem. I took it there and they ran a recalibration that took a lot longer than normal and then after 3 hours of me waiting handed me the keys with a 121 bill saying it was fixed. Drove down the road and same problem. Took it back and the guy started raising his voice and quite frankly was rude. I told him I was the customer which had little influence. He said to book it back in, but I would never go there again. I took it to Chichester 4X4 l, told them what the messages where, they said it needed a new compressor, this was fitted today and the car is fixed. I saw the old compressor and clearly it was worn out. The reason the calibration took so long was due to the compressor being worn out which is a common problem, you would think a specialist would know that!!!If you know anything about cars, or want to get value for money dont go here.This echos other peoples experiences.
Not a great experience with this company dropped car off at 8am for some little repairs that should have taken 30-45 mins and told that they could re mot it as it failed the previous one so waited around all day for a phone call to then have to ring them to see if its finished by this time it's 5pm and to make matters worse to be told that they couldn't mot it as it was done originally at Kwik fit well thank you very much for being kept informed of what's going on so now I am carless for at least a week as I'm working all week now
Trust worthy garage with sensible prices..what more could you ask for
Ad Autos had our car and was told that the brakes where sqeeking and it wasn't braking properly also we needed the locking wheel nuts removed.... They removed the locking nuts OK and they wrote down rear brakes OK and stone found stuck in front brakes.. But they never checked the brakes so we still have been driving dangerous because of there neglect and it cost us 145.08 so don't go to them as they take your money in and fob you off... Dishonest and very unhelpful manager and jill in the office. Manager will ignore you if there is a problem and jill will try and fob you off
